4 B attery Cover The remote temperature se nsor should be pl aced in a dry, shaded area. The remote temperature sensor has a range of 80 feet. Any walls that the signal will have to pass through will reduce d istance. An ou tdoor wa ll or window will h a v e 20 to 30 feet of resistance and an interior wall will have 10 to 20 feet of resistance.

9 (g) Press and release the “ALARM” button to confirm and to exit the alarm setting m ode. Note: The alarm will be automatically set to sound when exitin g the alarm- setting mode ( indicated by the alar m “sound” i con to the ri ght of the t ime).
10 IV) MOUNTING There are two possible way s to mount t he temperat ure clock: • use of the fol dout table stan ds • wall mounting A) FOLDOUT TABLE STANDS The Foldout table stand legs a re located on the backside, at the lower corner s, and on both sides of the battery cover.
11 V) THE REMOTE TEMPERATURE SENSOR The remote tem perature sensor can be mounted i n two ways • with the use of screws • using the a dhesive tape A) MOUNTING WITH SC REWS 1) Remove the mounting brac ket from the remote tem perature sensor. The bracket sh ould snap off easily.
12 TROUBLESHOOTING Problem: The LCD is faint. Solution: Replace the batteries. Problem: “OFL” appears in the in door temperature LCD. Solution: 1) Move uni t to an area with warm er or cooler sur rounding temperature. 2) Current su rrounding t emperat ures are outside measuring range.
