The temperature of the surface the lens is aimed at will read on the top of the display. The m inimum and maxi mum temperatures of t he current measurement are shown on the bottom of t he display.

5 5. Back light The LCD back light is consta ntly switc hed ON while the operati ng button is pressed. Wh en the operating butto n is released, the backlight w ill b e ON for approximate ly 4 seconds before autom ati cally switching off 8 seconds after t he last measurement.

7 Fastening the Infrared Thermometer A soft-sided pouch with a belt l oop and a quick release neck strap are included wit h the infrared thermometer. To attach the infrared thermometer to the neck strap simply insert the clip of the neck strap into the buck le end of the thermometer until it clicks.
