Set-up 2-8 Installing the TW AIN sou rce In order to scan originals using PaperPort, T W AIN Source must be installed PRIOR to installing the PaperPort application. 1 Run Windows. Quit all other applications th at may be open. 2 Insert the CD-ROM that is included with the sca nner into the CD-ROM drive of your computer .

When performing the s canning operation at the scanner 1 Press the Scan key to display the Select Scanner Function screen.

The ma in dialogue box for the TWAIN Source will appear . Ma ke any settings that you want, and put a check mark in the [Waiting Scan] checkbox.

T o carry out the various settings, p erform the following procedures. After completing the scan settings, if you set an original in the scanner and press the Star t key , scanning wi ll start.
