3 Introduction In troduc tion This nanoKEY2 parameter guide explains the parameters that can be edited on the nanoKEY2. Read this guide when you want to adjust or refine the settings. Prepar ations Y ou’ll use the KORG KONTROL Editor software to edit the nanoKEY2’s parameters.
4 The nanoKEY2’ s parameters T he nanoKEY2’ s par ameters G lobal MIDI channel G lobal MIDI Channel [1...16] This specifies the MIDI channels that will be used to transmit MIDI messages transmitted when you use the keyboar d, PITCH- button, PITCH+ button, MOD button, and SUST AIN button.
5 The nanoKEY2’ s parameters Keyb oa rd The keyboard transmits note messages, and is velocity-sensitive. Y ou can specify a transpose setting, and choose a velocity curve. These MIDI messages ar e transmitted on the Global MIDI Channel (p.4). Tr anspose [-12.

W ith the factory settings, control change number 64 (sustain) is assigned to the SUST AIN button, and control change number 1 (modulation) is assigned to the MOD button.
8 Restoring the factory settings Restor ing the fac tor y settings If you turn on the power while holding down the OCT - button, OCT+ button, and MOD button, the nanoKEY2’s settings will r eturn to their factory-set default condition, and the OCT - button and OCT+ button will blink.
