Sav e any stored image files to your computer bef ore moving the s witch to the OFF posi- tion. ● If the camera is left idle f or about 30 seconds with the main switch set to ON, a beep tone is sounded and automatically enters sleep mode.
5 English 4. T aking Pictures 1 Set the main switch on the side of the camera to ON (REC) (Figure 1). The status LCD on the back of the camer a will display the mode, which appears initially as “ Hr ” (Figure 2a). A fe w seconds later , the displa y will change to show the number of the pictures that can be taken (Figure 2b).
