- 2 - Laminator 1 . Intended use This laminator is intended ex clusively for use in priva- te households and for the hot and cold lamination of documents printed on paper or cardboard. Additionally , the documents can be trimmed. It is NO T intended for use with any other materials.
- 3 - CO Time The C.O. Time (Continuous Operation) details how long an appliance may be used without the motor ov erheating and being damaged. Af ter t he appliance has run for this period it must be switched of f until the motor has cooled itself down.
- 4 - Risk of fire! • Do not use t he appliance in the vicinity of hot surfaces. • Do not place t he appliance at locations exposed to direct sunlight. This could lead to ov erheating and cause irrepa- rable damage. • Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.

Preparing for hot lamination ➩ Inser t the pouch guide q into the holes provided on the rear of the laminator . ➩ If not already done, fold the trimming attach- ment d down. ➩ Pull the document suppor t s out, so that the document can be pulled in straight into the slot for manual pouch input t .
- 6 - 9. Preparing for cold lamination If you hav e previously performed hot lami- nation: Af ter hot laminating, allow the laminator to cool down completely before beginning with cold lamination. Remember , t he rollers inside the laminator will still be hot.
- 7 - ➩ When you hav e slid the laminating pouch several centimetres into the slot t , it will start to be pulled in automatically . Release the laminating pouch as soon as you notice it being pulled in auto- matically . Ensure there is at least 30 cm of open space in front of the laminator .
- 8 - 1 3.Cleaning and car e Potentially fatal electrical shock: • Nev er open the appliance housing. There are no user-ser viceable elements inside. • Nev er submerse the appliance into water or other liquids! Cleaning the housing: Clean the sur face of the housing with a slightly moistened cleaning cloth.
