- 2 - BA TTER Y C HAR GER KH 968 Intended Use The Batter y Charger is intended e xclusively for: • for the charging of rechar geable Ni-Cd and Ni-MH batteries of the sizes AAA / AA / C / D and 9 V Block with standard commercial design capacity . • for charging both fast and standard rechar geable batteries.
- 3 - Danger of electrical shock! Do not place the Batter y Charger: • in the close vicinity of water , e. g. baths and swimming pools. Should water permeate into the Batter y Charger , the appliance could be irrepar- ably damaged. • Remo ve the pow er cable from the plug socket before cleaning the Batter y Charger .
- 4 - Commissioning • Before taking the Batter y Charger into use, check that all items are complete/available and free of visible damage. • Place the Batter y Charger on a straight, le vel, scratch and slip r esistant sur face. Notice: This appliance is equipped with non-slip rubber feet.
- 5 - The various indicators hav e the following meanings: - The LED blinks red and gr een ever y second (Not for 9V Block batteries): The batteries are alternately charged and discharged for about 8 minutes.
