- 2 - ALL -PURPOSE BA TTER Y C HARGER Intended Use The All Purpose Batter y Charger is intended ex clusively for: • for the charging of rechargeable Ni Cd and Ni MH batteries with t he sizes AAA/AA/C/D and 9 V block batteries to standard commercial rating capacities.
- 3 - Danger of electrical shock! Do not place the Batter y Charger: • in the close vicinity of water , e. g. bat hs and swimming pools. Should water permeate into the Batter y Charger , the appliance could be irrepar ably damaged. • Remo ve the pow er cable from the plug socket before cleaning the Batter y Charger .
- 4 - Commissioning • Before taking the Batter y Charger into use, check that all items are complete/available and free of visible damage. • Place the Batter y Charger on a straight, lev el, scratch and slip resistant surface. Notice: This appliance is equipped with non slip rubber feet.
- 5 - The various indicators have the follo wing meanings: The LED blinks alternatively red and gr een: The batteries are being charged and discharged alternately . (Refr esh function: With t his, older batteries or batteries that have been stored for a long time will be refreshed.
- 6 - Timer control In addition, this charger is fitted with a timer control, which af ter 17 hours automatically switches ov er to trickle charge. This ser ves as additional pr otection against ov ercharging should the charge terminating device not respond, due to a possibly defectiv e batter y .
- 7 - W arranty & Ser vice The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years fr om the date of purchase. The appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously e xamined before delivery .
