- 2 - BA TTER Y C HARGER KH 968 Intended Use The Batter y Charger is intended e xclusiv ely for: • for the charging of rechargeable Ni-Cd and Ni-MH batteries of the sizes AAA / AA / C / D and 9 V Block with standard commercial design capacity . • for charging both fast and standard rechargeable batteries.
- 3 - Danger of electrical shock! Do not place the Batter y Charger: • in the close vicinity of water , e. g. baths and swimming pools. Should water permeate into the Batter y Charger , the appliance could be ir repar- ably damaged. • Remo ve the pow er cable from the plug sock et before cleaning the Batter y Charger .
- 4 - Commissioning • Before taking the Batter y Charger into use, check that all items are complete/available and free of visible damage. • Place the Batter y Charger on a straight, le vel, scratch and slip resistant surface. Notice: This appliance is equipped with non-slip rubber feet.
- 5 - The various indicators have the follo wing meanings: - The LED blinks red and gr een every second (Not for 9V Block batteries): The batteries are alternately charged and discharged for about 8 minutes. (R efresh-Function: Older batteries or those that have been stored for a long period will be refreshed.
- 6 - T roubleshooting The Batter y Charger displays no functions • Check to see if the power cable is correctly inser ted into the pow er socket. • Check to see if the power sock et is „live“. T o do this, connect a dif ferent, functioning electrical appliance to the socket.
- 7 - W arranty & Ser vice The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years fr om the date of purchase. The appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously e xamined before delivery .
