- 3 - • Use only the supplied original accessories since these have been optimised for interaction with the appliance. • Do not operate the appliance without ingredients.

- 5 - Hints: • Cut the ingredients into appr ox. 3 cm size pieces before adding them to the bowl 9 . • The appliance chops the ingredients v er y fast, therefore allo w the appliance to run only br iefly . • Do not allo w the appliance to run for more than 1 minute at a time.
- 6 - The cutting (II/III) and grating discs (IV/V) can be used to slice or grate food stuff s quickly . The special potato-chip disc (VI) enables you to mak e unifor m potato-chips at home. With the potato grater disc (I) you can finely chop raw potatoes for the mixture, and finely grate other vegetables or fruits as well.
- 7 - • Place the lid 0 on the bowl 9 and the pusher w in the filling shaf t q . • Set the speed controller 7 to the level r ecommended in the table. Hints: • Put liquid ingredients into the bo wl 9 last and star t mixing at low speed to av oid splashing.
- 8 - • When y ou have finished, switch of f the blender and first remo ve the lid 2 by turning it clockwise. • Then remo ve the blender jug 4 by turning it clockwise. Hints: • Y ou can add your ingr edients to the blender jug 4 through the opening in the lid 2 during ope- ration.
- 9 - • Check whether the cover 5 for the motor block 6 , mixing bowl 9 and lid 0 ar e inser ted and engaged properly . 11. Disposal Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the European guideline 2002/96/EC.
