Af ter unpacking the device, immediately check to determine that all listed items are present and that the device is in a faultless condition.
T ec hnical Data This device has been tested and appro ved in accordance with the basic r equire- ments and other rele vent regulations of the EMC guidelines 2004/108/EC as well as the guidelines for low v oltage devices 2006/95/EC. Batter y operation: KH2198: 3 x 1.
Important: Ensure that you hav e the correct polarities with t he batteries and the power adapter . False polarity will damage the device. The device can be operated as follo ws: • only with batteries , • with a mains power adapter and a battery for the clock .
Placing • Place the projection clock onto a lev el sur face. • Position the projection clock such that the projection lens q is directed onto an empty surface. The distance from the projection lens to the projection area (ceiling or wall) must lie betw een 0,4 m and 3 m.
Radio operation 1. Slide the switch AL ARM ON/OFF/AUT O e into t he position "ON". 2. T o switch on, tur n the volume controller OFF/BUZZ/V OLUME o until an audible »Click« is heard. 3. Using the volume controller OFF/BUZZ/V OLUME o now set the desired sound volume le vel.
Setting the time Whilst holding the button TIME f pressed down: 1. Press sev eral times consecutively , or press and hold, the button HOUR j to set the hours. 2. Release the button HOUR j as soon as the desired hours setting is shown in the display i .
Radio alarm call When the clock is set correctly , as described above: 1. Adjust the tuning regulator d to select the desired radio station. 2. Using the sound volume controller OFF/BUZZ/V OLUME o now set the desired sound v olume level. 3. T o activate an alarm call with radio, place the switch AL ARM ON/OFF/ AUTO e at "AUT O".
Projection Attention! When used properly , the radiation from the projection of the display is not at all dangerous!. Ho wev er , avoid looking directly into the light beam and do not aim the beam at other persons or at animals.
Disposal Do not dispose of the device in y our normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the provisions of European Directiv e 2002/96/EC. Dispose of the device through an appro ved disposal centre or at your community waste facility . Obser ve the currently applicable regulations.
