- 2 - A3 Laminator 1 . Intended use This laminator is intended ex clusiv ely for use in priva- te households and for the hot and cold lamination of documents printed on paper or cardboard. Additionally , the documents can be tr immed. It is NO T intended for use with an y other materials.
- 3 - Ov erheating Protection This appliance is fitted with overheating pr otection. Should the motor become too hot due to ex cessive loading, the appliance switches itself of f automati- cally . In t his case, disconnect the plug from the mains pow er sock et and wait until the appliance has cooled down to r oom temperatur e.
- 4 - Risk of fire! • Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of hot sur faces. • Do not place the appliance at locations e xposed to direct sunlight. This could lead to ov erheating and cause irrepa- rable damage. • Do not leav e the appliance unattended when in use.

- 6 - 9. Pr epar ing for cold lamination If y ou have pre viously performed hot lami- nation: Af ter hot laminating, allow the laminator to cool do wn completely before beginning with cold lamination. Remember , the rollers inside the laminator will still be hot.
- 7 - ➩ If you do not w ant to star t another lamination process, turn the foil thickness switch o to ABS (OFF) and withdraw the plug from the mains pow er sock et. 1 1 . Anti-Bloc king Switc h (ABS) At the s tar t of the lamination process, the pouch may be pulled in at an angle or jam itself inside the appliance.
- 8 - ➩ Then run a sheet of DIN A3 paper , folded in the middle (maximum thickness 1 .0 mm) … • without a laminating pouch and • with the fold f irst … slo wly into the slot for manual pouch input t . ➩ Release the sheet as soon as y ou notice it being pulled in automatically .
