WEL C OME Congratulations on choosing the K ohler KD165 dig ital Piano with the A UT O PLA Y play er piano function. The KD165 was designed to turn a your digital piano into a state-of-the-art play er piano .
K O HLER CD 5 e Kohler KD CD remote controller is an IR (infra red) device. e remote control operates best when you poin t it dir ec tly a t the fron t of the KO HL ER CD con trol unit, o r at the external IR sensor. Battery: e remote controller’s battery compartment contains 2 AAA type batteries.

BASIC OPERATION e AUTO PLAYER function is automatically turned or off on when the POWER ON/OFF button is used.
Aim to the CD player with the r emote controller and and pr ess the MED VOL button Set all four sliders to 0 Play the keyboard like y ou normally would and adjust the MASTER VOL UME and TONE to the desired setting.

BX XB XT 11 Bass Treble BALANCE BALANCE ? or ? will increase the accompaniment volume level. When BALANCE ? or ? is pressed the display shows: BASS AND T REBLE C ONTR OLS BASS and TREBLE ? or ? will change the tone of the accompaniment track by increasing or decreasing the bass and treble levels.
P0 d1 d2 d3 12 M UTE (P IANO MUT E) e mute function allows the user to turn off the player piano while the accompaniment is playing. is is recommended when playing standard audio CDs to avoid randomly triggered notes. To mute the piano press the LOWVOL (low volume preset) twice within three seconds.
