6 Speaker connections The GSZ44 has four stereo 3 0 watts p er chann el ampl ified outp uts. Chan nel 1 also has lin e level out puts to conne ct to l arger pow ered ampli fiers.
7 Keypad Connection The GSZ44 outpu ts are b e controll ed by the MR40 keypad and a Kn oll RB8 remote control . Only one MR40 ke ypad can be used in a zo ne. Note: MR40 keypad s are n ot desig ned for ou tdoo r use, high humidi ty, high tem perature s or any e xtremes.
8 Note: MR40 key pads d o not req uire a ny prog ramming. Infrared connect ions On the rea r of the GSZ44 there are four in frared p ass though p orts. Each of the 1 through 4 c orrespond s to th e keypa d port ne xt to them. For exam ple IR port #3 i s the in frared output for k eypads c onnected to KEYPAD #3 .
9 To turn of f the zone e ither push th e ke ypad button lab eled off or the off button on the R B8 rem ote control. To turn on t he zone o n either pr ess the so urce button or the of f button on th e remote or k e ypad. If you press the O FF butt on the zon e will go back to the source s elected wh en it wa s last shut off.
10 Problem Solutions Amplifier won’t t urn on Master power swit ch turned off (No power light LED). Turn on Master Power Swit ch. Amplifier t urns on, but no audio Input plugs not connected to proper jack or are lo ose. from one or more channels Check input connectio ns.
