Page 4 Preparing the Loudspeaker C onnec tion Proc edure: There is a specific procedure to be follow ed: • Switch o and unplug the amplier/s and all source electronics fr om the mains power . • Place the subwoof er in the general area where y ou want it.

P ositioning your P alladium Series subwoofer Klipsch powered subwoof ers are designed to r eproduce deep bass and deliver the impact that makes your movies and music come alive.
Page 6 Caution: T urn off your preamplifier/rec eiver and your subw oofer before making any connections! Inputs and Outputs Line In Y our Palladium Series power ed sub- woofer is connected via line-level connections only. RCA-type and XLR inputs are pro vided and either may be used.
Page 7 T ouch Panel C ontrols All of the subwoof er ’ s controls and settings are accessed through the touch-panel key pad and display located on the top of the subw oofer ’ s cabinet. The only exception to this is the main AC power switch, which is located on the r ear panel of the subwoof er .
Page 8 EQ Mode This screen is used to select two dier ent bass emphasis settings titled “Punch ” and “Depth ” . They are designed to complement dier ent types of program material, such as movie soundtracks or music . The “Punch ” setting emphasizes the 55Hz region, while the “D epth ” setting boosts the 30Hz range.
Page 9 Room Corr ec tion This screen is used to activate the automatic A daptive Room Correction (ARC ) featur e. Plug the supplied microphone into the “MIC IN” jack on the subwoof er ’ s rear panel and place it in the intended listening position.
Page 10 Ke ypad Lock This screen is used to lock the keypad and prevent unint entional changes to your settings by other users. After making all desired adjustments, press the Enter key to lock the keypad. “Keypad Locked Hold t u to Unlock ” will be displayed.
