1 INTRODUCTION The TITAN ™ 70 is the smallest and lightest pack age available in both a charger and on-camera power supply. It incorporates all of the Logic Series ® circuits that are employed i n every Anton/Bauer ® charger.
2 SAFEGUARDS Power Sources: This unit was designed to operate at ma ins voltages from 90 to 250 Volts AC, 50-60 Hz. Risk of Electrical Shock: Refer servicing to quali fied service personnel. TO PREVENT FIRE OR SHOCK HAZARD, DO NOT EXPOSE THIS UNIT TO RAIN OR MOISTURE.
3 Charging As with all Anton/Bauer chargers, charging with TITAN 70 is fully aut om at ic. M ount any Logic Series battery to the TITAN 70 and it will automatically determine and execute the appropriate charge routine.
4 Three Stage Charging Methodology In general, the TITAN 70 will deliver a three stage charge routine to each battery. 1. Stage One will deliver a high rate charge matched to the capabilities of the battery (typi cally a one or two hour rate , depending on battery type).
5 LED Indications The TITAN 70 has three LEDs (one red, two green). One green LED indicates AC line voltage status. If the green status LED is st eady, then line voltag e is present. If the green status LED is flashing, t hen AC Line volt age has been rem oved.
6 OPERATION AS DC CAMERA SUPPLY FROM MAINS The TITAN 70 will automa tically operate as a DC power supply once the cam era, or other device is turned on. There are no switch es, it is fully automatic. The single green LED will light indicating that the uni t is operating as a power supply.
7 FCC NOTICE This equipment has been tested and found to com ply with the lim its for a Class A digital device pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC R ules. These l imit s are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful int erference when the equipment is operated in a comm ercial envi ronment.
8 LIMITED WARRANTY This one (1) year lim ited warranty for the product specified in this docum ent is given by Anton/Bauer, Inc. (“Anton/Bauer”), 14 Progress Drive, Shelton, Conn ecticut 06484.
