5 INSTALLA TION INSTRUCTIO NS Unpack ing 1. Empty the mic rowave oven of any pa cking materia ls. 2. Clean the inside with a s oft, damp cl oth. 3. Check for damage, such as: ■ a door that is not lined u p correctly ■ damage around the door , or ■ dents on the interior or ext erior of the microwave oven.

7 Dis pla y When power is firs t supplie d to the microwave oven, “:” wil l appear in th e displa y . If the “:” ap pears in the di splay a t any other time, a power fail ure has occurred. Reset the cl ock if needed. When the microwave oven is in use, the display shows cook time remaining.
8 Control Lock The Control Loc k shuts dow n the con trol panel pa ds to prevent unintended use of the microwave oven. If an y pad is t ouched while the Cont rol Lock is activ e, “LOCKED ” will app ear in the displa y .

11 Custom Defrosting The Custom Defrost feature’ s preset programs can be used or the microwave oven can be manually set to defrost. T o defrost manually , use 30% cook power . Refer to a r eliable cookbook for defrosti ng in for matio n. ■ Food should be 0°F (-18°C) or colder at defrosting for optimal r esul ts .
12 Auto Sensor Popcorn The sensor in the microwave oven dete rmines the app ropriate popping time of commercially packaged mi crowavable popcorn . ■ Do not use regular paper ba gs or glassware. ■ Pop only 1 package of popc orn a t a time. ■ Follow manufac turer’ s instruction s when us ing a microwave popcor n po pper .
