10 Recommended Gr ound Method The outdoor side b urner , when installed , must be electri cally grounded in accordance with loc al codes or , in the absence of local code s, with the Nat ional El ec trical Code ANSI/NFP A 70, or Canadian Elect rical Code, CSA C22.
11 The 20 l b LP gas fue l tank must be mounte d and secu red. Door Style T ank T ray 1. Open cabinet doors. 2. Pull o ut the tank tra y . 3. Place the 20 lb LP gas fuel tan k bottom collar into t he mounti ng hole in the tank tray . 4. Tighten the locki ng screw against the bott om collar of the 20 lb LP gas fu el tank to secu re.
12 Gas Connection Requiremen ts For Models Eq uipped for Natural Ga s Natural Gas Built- in side bur ner models are equip ped for use with Na tural gas. They are design- certified by CSA Int ernat ional for LP (propane or butane) gases with appropriate conv ersion.

14 7. The tank tray for th e 20 lb LP gas fuel ta nk must be adjust ed so that the bott om of the ta nk tra y is ¹⁄₈ " (0.32 cm) above the cabinet door opening and i s level.
15 Gas Connection to Natural Gas or Local LP Gas This install ation must conform wit h local codes an d ordinances. In the absen ce of local codes, installa tions must conform with either th e National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z223.1 - latest editi on, or CAN/CGA-B149.
16 4. Gently slide th e side burner comp letely in to the out door enclosure. 5. Plug 3-pr ong power cord p lug into a grounded 3 -prong GFI outlet. ■ T o avoid e lectrical shock, do n ot immerse cord or plugs in water or other liqui d. ■ Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.

20 Low Flame Adjustme nt If fla me goes ou t on th e “LO” sett ing, the l ow flame setting must be adjus ted. 1. T ur n off the valve and wait un til burners are cool. 2. Light side burner using information in the “Out door Side Burn er Use” section.
21 Manually lighting t he side burner 1. Remove the outd oor side burn er cover . 2. Remove t he manual li ghting extens ion (see fol lowing illust ration ) and at tach a ma tch to t he spli t ring. 3. Strike the mat ch to light it. 4. Guide the match to the b urner you wis h to ligh t.
