Overlay Frame T op View Pivot Plate Relief 1. Route the top and back of the overlay fra me to create the pivot plat e relief as shown.
5 Location Requirements T o ensure proper ventilation for your w ine cellar , allow for a ¹ / ₄ " (0.64 cm) space on e ach side an d at the t op. When i nstall ing your wine ce llar next t o a fixed wall, le ave 2 ¹⁄₂ " (6.35 cm) mi nimum clearance on each side to allo w for the door to swin g open.
6 Remove the G asket 1. Place the win e cellar door on the cardboard with the door gas ket fa cin g u pwar d. 2. Remove the door gas ket by pullin g from the middle and proceeding outward, movi ng toward the edge. NOTE : T o keep the door gas ket from tearing, use care when pulling it out of the gr oove.
7 2. Place the door an d overlay frame fac e down on the cardboard. 3. Use the hole s in the doo r fra me as gu ide s an d dr ill p ilot holes for the screws that wi ll attach t he overlay frame to th e door . IMPORT AN T : ■ Do not use a dril l bit lar ge r tha n ⁷₆₄ ".
8 Door Closing Door Cl osing Y our win e cella r has four l eveling legs . If you r wine cel lar seems unsteady or you want the door to close more easil y , adjust the wine ce llar ’ s t ilt us ing the i nstru ction s below. 1. Plug into a gr ounded 3 pr ong outlet.
9 If you need to adjust the temperat ure, wait at le ast 24 hours between adj ustments and then recheck the tempe rature . T o make the wine cel lar cold er , adjust the control to the next higher s etting. T o make th e wine cellar le ss col d, adjust the control to the n ext lower set ting.
