4 INSTALLA TION INSTRUCTIONS Unpack th e Re frig erator Remove t he Packaging ■ Remove tape and glue residue fr om surfaces before turning on the refrigerator . Ru b a small amount of liquid dish soap over th e adhesiv e with yo ur fingers. W ipe wi th warm wate r and dry .
5 Electrical Requ irements Befo re you mov e you r r efrige rator into its fi nal l ocat ion, it is important to make sure you have the proper electrical connection . Recommended Gr o unding Method A 115 V olt, 60 Hz. , AC only 15- or 20 -amp fuse d, gr ounded electrica l supply i s required.
6 5. Using a groun ded drill, drill a ¹⁄₄ " hole i n the cold water p ipe you ha ve sele cted. 6. Fasten the sh utoff valve t o the cold water p ipe with t he pipe clamp. Be s ure the outlet end is solid ly in the ¹⁄₄ " drilled hole in the water pi pe and that the washer is under the pipe clamp.
7 5. Using an adj ustable w rench, hold t he nut on t he plasti c water line to ke ep it fr om moving. Then, with a second wr ench turn the compression nu t on the copper tu bing count erclockwise to co mpletely tighte n. Do n ot ov ertigh ten. 6. Check connecti on by pulling on copp er tubing.
8 1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect pow er . 2. Keep the refrigerator doors clos ed until you are ready to lift them free from the cabinet. NOTE : Provide additional support for the refrigerator door while the hin ges are being removed. Do not depend on the door gasket magnets to hold the door in place while you are working.

10 Adjust the Door Depending on your mod el, your ref rigerator may ha ve two ( Style 1 ) or four ( Style 2 ) adjustable rollers located at the ba se of the refrigerator . If your refrigerator seems uns teady or you wan t the door to clos e easier , adjust th e r efrigerator 's ti lt using the instr uctio ns belo w .
11 Normal Sounds Y our ne w r efrigera tor may make soun ds tha t your ol d one di dn ’ t make. Because th e sounds are new to y ou, you might be concern ed about them. Most of the new sou nds are normal. Hard surfaces, such as the floor , wall s, and cabi nets, ca n make the sounds seem loud er .

Shelve s and She lf Frames T o Remove and Rep lace a Shelf/ Shelf Frame : 1. Remove the s helf/frame by t iltin g it up at t he front and lifti ng it out of the shelf supports.
16 Style 2 - Lift -up-lid D rawer T o rem ove the drawer: 1. Lift the l id. Pull th e drawer out to its full ex tension. 2. Tilt up the front of the drawer an d pull it straigh t out. T o rep lace the drawer: 1. Push the met al glide rail s to the rear of the refrigerator .
17 DOOR FE ATURE S Y our model may have some or all of these features. Door Retaine r (on some models) T o Remove and Repla ce the D oor Reta iner: 1.
