The Keystone DVS-V Vision Screener represents the fift h gen- eration of electro/mechanical vision test instrum ents. All func- tions are under pus h button con- trol… for unparalleled ease and reliability of operation. Com - pletely self contained, the unit operates from standar d 110-120 volt AC pow er.
Under normal co nditions of use, the DVS-V will require little maintenance i f it is protected by a dust cover when not i n use. Virtually no repa ir or adjustment will be neede d, since all operat- ing com ponent are prote cted and solid-state circuitry assures ex- ceptionally h igh reliabi lity.
E A C B D F Elliptech Control Unit The newly de signed DVS-V Elliptech S oft-Touch hand control unit makes for eas y operations of the vision screener. By pressing the appropriate but tons on this compact panel, th e stereo tests can be advanced or re- versed, the subject’s ey es occluded, and the peripheral visi on test lam ps selectively lit.
T e st Guide Subject to wear any glasses normally used when driving. Test #1: Quick Acuity Nine separate blocks containing three digits of 20/ 40 acuity letters each. The first column tests both ey es, the second tests ri ght eye acuity , and the third test left eye acuity.

Horizontal Field Testing This test shows a subject' s range of vision to each side when he/s he looks straight ahead. Having the su bject direct his/her atte ntion to a far-point stereo target and then lig hting the periph eral target lamps at random.
