● High-Speed Measurement It takes only 10 seconds to measure and displa y the wav e- f or m and connection loss on one screen. Just one press of the Star t key is all that is needed to mak e measurement.
● Fresnel Reflection The f ar-end F resnel reflection can be measured for f our wa velengths (1310/1450/1550/1625 nm). ● Group Delay Characteristics The fitting f or mula suppor ts cubic or quintic Sellmeier , and polynomials can be applied to various types of fibers.
Compact, Lightweight, and Easy to Operate O TDR (main frame) Lithium ion batter y mounted, with remaining power displa y Connector f or e xter nal CRT Displa y unit Measurement conditions can be changed at mea- surement screen Large easy-to-read 8.

High-Speed Measurement ● Full Automatic Mode Measurement results are displa yed by simply pressing the Star t key . All complicated settings of distance range, pulse width, attenuator , and mar ker can be automatically e xecuted. Measurement speed in this mode was significantly increased.
V arious Useful Functions ● Waveform Comparison Function Measured and sav ed data can be compared on the same screen. In addition, differences can be displa yed as a wa vef orm for simple observation of distance and le vel dif- f erences. This is useful f or checking aging changes or comparing sev eral fibers.
● Light Source, Power Meter Optical fiber loss can be measured using the optical powe r meter function and light source function. T w o types of optical power meters are supported: One is measurement range of –70 to +3 dBm (MW9076B/B1/C-02 option), the other is measurement range of –50 to +23 dBm (MW9076B/B1/C-03 option).
● Both-End Measurement Function A new w av eform can be composed by a veraging data mea- sured at both ends of an optical fiber . ● Data T ransmission Function Data files recorded by the MW9076 series can be transf erred to a PC via the RS-232C por t.
● Report Output The ev ent table of a specified file is analyzed and the printed automatically . It is also possible to print multiple wav eforms on one page. In par ticular , at both ends measurement, the measurement results f or both ends can be output automati- cally in a repor t.
