11 DEUTSCH IT ALIANO ESP AÑOL Power Supply This unit can be powered from the provided rechargeable batteries, commercially sold AAA alkaline batteries or the household power supply. 2 1 1 Push the 0 PUSH OPEN key and open the top cover. 2 Open the battery cover.
12 DEUTSCH IT ALIANO ESP AÑOL 1 Connect the AC adaptor to the DC IN jack of the recharger stand. ÷ Install the recharger stand on a level surface. ÷ Keep the recharging terminals and battery terminals always clean. 2 Connect the AC adaptor to the household wall outlet.

Digital signal connection: (DPC-X937 only) Analog signal connection: Make sure to switch Bass Boost off. Listening through speakers: Speakers with built-in amplifier Amplifer MD recorder etc.
16 DEUTSCH IT ALIANO ESP AÑOL 2 Push the 0 PUSH OPEN key and open the top cover. ÷ Secure the disc by pushing a position near the center hole unit it clicks. ÷ Close securely by pushing the front right position of the top cover unit it clicks. Insert with labeled side up.

20 DEUTSCH IT ALIANO ESP AÑOL The mode changes each time the REPEAT key is pressed. When in the normal playback mode : 1 One-track repeat ( ) The track being played or the selected track will be played repeatedly. 2 All-track repeat ( ) All tracks on the disc will be played repeatedly.
21 DEUTSCH IT ALIANO ESP AÑOL 1 Press and held the REPEAT key for more than 2 seconds. A-B repeat playback (only by remote control operation) A-B repeat playback allows you to play a specified section repeatedly. Press during playback status. ÷ Start point A is specified.

23 DEUTSCH IT ALIANO ESP AÑOL Using Bookmarks (only by remote control operation) The bookmark allows you to skip to the desired point in a disc. The bookmark can be set only in one position in the disc. Press during playback status. 1 Press and held the REPEAT key for more than 2 seconds.
24 DEUTSCH IT ALIANO ESP AÑOL To skip to the bookmark position Press during playback or stop status. Press the REPEAT key. ÷ The bookmark is set in the position selected in step 2 . 3 Press the 3 / ¢ key to actually set the bookmark. To cancel the bookmark Press during playback status.

26 DEUTSCH IT ALIANO ESP AÑOL Fast forward / fast reverse (only by remote control operation) Operate the key while playback is in progress. ÷ Pressing and holding down the 3 / ¢ key fast-forwards the disc. ÷ Pressing and holding down the 4 key fast-reverses the disc.

31 DEUTSCH IT ALIANO ESP AÑOL Alarm mode (only by remote control operation) An alarm tone can be generated in the set period of time after the alarm mode is set. The alarm mode is particularly convenient to give yourself notice, for example approach of the destination station when your are on a train.
32 DEUTSCH IT ALIANO ESP AÑOL When the set time has elapsed The alarm tone is generated for about 1 minute to notice the end of the set time period. At this time when vol- ume is large , volume decreases automatically. Please adjust volume when alarm stops (or after stopping alarm).

Setting continuous playback (only by remote control operation) When the disc is removed from the unit, playback of music can be continued using the data stored in the memory. This allows you to enjoy music even during replacement of the disc.

39 DEUTSCH IT ALIANO ESP AÑOL For pleasant use… Simple care When the lens in the pick-up gets dirty, malfunctions in- cluding the impossibility of playback may occur. Do not touch the lens to prevent damaging the mechanism. Also do not use a lens cleaner or disc cleaner product.
40 DEUTSCH IT ALIANO ESP AÑOL Discs which can be played with this unit This unit is capable of playing back the Audio CD discs, CD-R/CD-RW (CD-DA) discs and discs carrying the marking. Other discs cannot be played. 8 cm single CDs can be played as they are; do not use a commercially- available single CD adapter.
