Congratulations on your selection of a new Kenmore dehumidifier . Y our Kenmore dehumidifier has been designed and manufactured to a high standard of quality , tested and inspected by competent personnel. The fan which has a permanently lubricated motor , draws moisture-laden air over a refrigerat- ed evaporator coil which condenses the moisture and returns the treated, dry air to the room. The automatic water overflow control stops the unit when the moisture collecting pan is full and (on some models) a signal light reminds you to empty the pan.
Models with Frostguard™ De-icer Control The Frostguard™ de-icer senses ice build up on the evaporator coil and automatically shuts off the compressor . The fan continues to run, drawing air across the coil and melting the ice. When the coil is defrosted, the Frostguard™ de-icer sensor restart s the compressor auto- matically .
