Check primary filter frequently and clean when dirty. Remove the dust bin assembly as outlined in the DUST BIN CLEANING section and empty contents of dust bin. Make sure dust bin is empty before filter is removed. Grasp filter screen, rotate counter-clockwise and lift out.
The secondary filter screen protects the motor. Always check filter screen when cleaning dust bin. If dirty or clogged, remove debris from filter screen.

Be sure the filters are properly installed to prevent motor failure and/or electri- cal shock. EXHAUST FILTER The exhaust filter must be replaced when dirty.
