7 Before Setting Oven Controls Oven V ent Location The oven vent is located below the backguard . When the oven is on, warm air is released through this vent. This venting is necessary for proper air circulation in the oven and good baking results. DO NOT BLOCK THE OVEN VENT.

10 Changing the Oven Light (some models) On some models, the oven light automatically turns on when the door is opened. Some models have a switch located on the control panel to turn on the light. The oven light is located at the rear of the oven and is covered with a glass shield held by a wire holder.
