9 Importa nt key s & con necto rs Phon e overvi ew 1 Earpiece When making a phone call, the s ound will be he ard through this spe aker located above the touch scree n. 2 Touch Screen Use your fingers to navigate the c apacitive touch screen . Navigate through menus by t apping, swiping or long pressing an item.
11 Getting s tarted let's g et you up and r unning Assemb le & charg e SIM car d in Make sure that the clipped corn er of the SIM card is fac ing the correct direction and the metalli c contacts are facing the correct directio n. Slide the SIM c ard i nto th e card slo t until it stops.
13 Charge u p Ensure the b atte ry is ins erted in the ha ndse t. To charge the b atte ry, plug in the charger c onnecto r at your phone (USB interface) and then plug the othe r end in to an AC p ow er soc ket. The bat ter y symbol indicates the ch arging status.
15 Rotate th e screen On som e scr eens, the orientatio n of the screen rotates w ith t he phone as you t urn it from upright to its slide and back again.
17 Context m enus Context menus contain tools that appl y to specific item on the screen. You can open a context menu by touching and holding a n ite m on the screen. No t all items ha ve conte xt menus. If you to uch and hold a n item that has n o co ntext menu, nothing hap pens.
19 Phone status bar an d notifications The status bar at the top of the s creen cont ains icons that tell you abou t messag es and phone status and shows what’s going on i n y our phone. At the top you get notificatio ns w hen there is so mething new or ongoi ng.

You have to plug in a n earphone , as t he antenna of the FM radio. You ca n li sten to t he radio e ither through an earphon e, or t hrough the sp eaker i n the p hone.
