4 2. How to use Kang uruM icro MP3 player 2.1 Mechanical p art s 2.2 How to install a replacement battery 1. Remove battery cover by pressing two sides. 2. Connect battery’s cord to the power port. 3. Put back battery cover . 4. Connect to USB port to fully ch arge battery for first time use.
5 2.3 Function: MP3 play er mode 1. The MP3 function is enable d when the earphone s plugged in. (Earphone po rt is 2.5mm).
6 2. Press the Control Switch button once: Play / Pause 3. Slide to right side and hold to increase the volume. Slide to left side and hold to lo wer the vol ume .
7 4. Quick pull to right side: next song Quick pull to left side: previous song 5. Power LED: (i) Plug Kanguru Micro MP3 into USB port to re-charge battery through compute r . Orange LED light in dicates battery is charging. (ii) Green LED light indicates battery is fully ch arged.
8 6. Play LED: (i) Red LED light indi cates you are in MP3 pla yer mode. (ii) Red LED light flash es quickly when no MP3 files are found. (iii) Red LED flashe s slowly when you pause MP3 player. (iv) Green LED indicates yo u are in USB re movable d isk mo de.
9 7. T o charge battery: plug the un it into a USB port of notebook or desktop computer . For best results, please charge at least 1 hour and 45 minutes.
10 3. How to Install / Modify / Repair / Remove dr iver 3.1 Windows 98/98SE Installation : (1) Go to CD or floppy disk driver in “My Computer .” (2) Execute “Setup.exe” by double click on the icon . (3) Follo w the instructions and cli ck “Next”.
11 (4) System will inst all all the necessary file s into your Windows op erating system. Aft er setup installation com pleted, click “OK” to restart computer . Once the installation has finished completely , you can see a “Removable Disk” in “My Comput er” when you plug in the KanguruMi cro MP 3.
12 3.2 Modify or rep air driv er for Win 98 / Win 98 SE (1) If you hav e prev iously inst alled t he drivers you will see the following screen after ex ecuting the “Setup.exe” file again . If somehow the driver is damaged, you can select “ Repair” to fix the corrupted files.

14 3.3 Remove drive r from Win 98 / W in 98 SE (1) T o remo ve the driver from your operating system. Execute the “Setup.exe” file from CD driver disk again. Sele ct “Remove” and click “Next”. (2) System will then ask you to confirm deletion.
15 (4) Click “Finish” to complete the pr ocess of removing device driver from your system..
16 3.4 Windows ME / Window s 2000 / XP Inst allation For these three operatin g systems NO Driver is needed , because Windows has built-in driver to support USB removable disk. Simply plug the KanguruMicro MP3 into the USB port and it wil l be recognized by the system.
