Flavored / Sugar Coated Beans : DO NOT fill these type beans int o t he bean container . The sugars will stick to the burrs and clog the flow of ground cof fee. Have your local coffee store grind these type beans and use as described in chapter 11. Using Oily Beans: Beans with an oily surface tend to stick together .
Grinding times (approx.) MILD .......... 6 to 7 seconds. NORMAL ... 7.5 to 8.5 seconds. STRONG..... 9 to 10 seconds. AROMA -setting " ST ANDARD " has the shorter grinding times. AROMA -setting " ROBUST " has the longer grinding times.
13. FROTHING and STEAMING The steam function can be used to heat up any liquid and to steam and froth milk. Steaming Position: The Frother's metal cylinder is in the UP position (Fig. 16). In the steaming position hot steam is injected into the milk (or any other liquid) without creating a fr othy layer on top.
15. CLEANING THE DUAL FROTHER PLUS Always keep the Dual Frother Plus clean and fr ee of milk deposits. Hardened milk particles will make it impossible to create milk fr oth. Fast cleaning: Display shows READY . Place a cup underneath the frother (Fig.
