4 Y our Ne w W ashing Machine Y our new washing machine meets all modern r equirements f or effectiv e treatment of laundr y with lo w water , energ y and detergent consumption. Ev en small loads are washed “economicall y” because the amount of water used is r egulated automatically accor ding to the load and type of fabric .

1 Detergent dispenser dra wer 2 Pr ogramme selector dial The pr ogramme selector dial is divided into following sections: • Cottons, • Synthetics, • Delicates • W ool Hand washing • Special .
7 • “ Quick” : select this option for laundry that is only slightly soiled in or der to obtain a good washing result in a short time. This option is not a vailable with the W ool pr ogrammes, “Duvet 40 ° ”, the Energ y sa ving pr ogrammes “ Econom y ” and “ 30 Minute wash ” .
8 • Dela y star t , a time value indicated in hours and selected by means of the r elevant button. The dela y time is display ed for 3 seconds, then the duration of the selected pr ogramme reappears.
9 When the pr ogramme has finished, the “ End ” light comes on. The “ End ” pilot light flashes in the ev ent of operating pr oblems. And the relativ e alarm code appears on the displa y .
10 Operating Sequence Befor e the first wash, we recommend that you pour 2 litr es of water into the main w ash compar tment of the detergent dr awer in order to activate the ECO valve. Then run a cotton c ycle at 60°C , without any laundr y in the machine , to remove any manufacturing residue fr om the drum and tub.
11 6. Select the spin speed or the “None” option Press the “ Spin ” button r epeatedly button if order to select the desired spin speed or the “None” (no spin) option.
12 12. Ho w to interrupt a pr ogramme Depress the “ Start/P ause ” button to interrupt a pr ogramme which is running, the corresponding light starts to flash.

17 Maintenance and Cleaning Befor e any maintenance or cleaning is car ried out you must DISCONNECT the appliance from the electricity supply . Descaling The water we use normall y contains lime . It is a good idea to periodically use a water softening powder in the machine.
18 • When no more water comes out, unscr ew the pump cov er and remo ve it. Al wa ys k eep a rag nearby to dr y up spillage of water when remo ving the cov er . • Remov e any objects fr om the pump impeller by r otating it. • Put the cap back on the emergency emptying hose and place the latter back in its seat.

20 Symptom The door will not open P ossible causes ● The water lev el is abov e the bottom edge of the door . ● The machine is heating the water . ● The drum is turning. In any case the door can be opened onl y when the door lock ed light has gone out.

22 Unpacking All transit bolts and packing must be r emov ed befor e using the appliance. Y ou are advised to k eep all the packaging for r e-use in case the machine is to be transported again. Using a spanner unscre w and remo ve the tw o rear bottom scre ws.
23 W ater inlet Connect the hose to a tap with a 3/4” thr ead. Alwa ys use the hose supplied with the appliance to connect to the water supply . Do not use pre viously used hoses for water connection. Installation should comply with local water authority and building regulations’ r equirements.
24 2. Onto a sink outlet spigot. If the outlet spigot has not been used befor e , remov e any blanking plug that ma y be in place. Push the drain hose onto the spigot and secur e with a clip if requir ed, ensure a loop is formed in the drain hose (see diagram) to pre vent waste fr om the sink entering the washing machine.
