7 T emperature r egulation The temperature ma y be regulated by pr essing the ke y B. By pressing the k ey B the curr ent temperature setting flashes on the indicator .
8 This function stops automatically after 52 hours. It is possible to de-activate the function at any time by pressing k ey D until the corr esponding icon flashes and then pressing k ey E. Quick chill function The Quick Chill function is used for the rapid cooling of drinks.
9 Using the fr eez er Befor e use Remove all securing ta pes. W ash inside the appliance with luke warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water).
10 Normal operating sounds • Y ou may hear faint gurgling or bubbling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped thr ough the coils or tubing at the rear , to the cooling plate/evaporator or to the fix ed freezer shelv es.
11 F ood storag e • Ensure that food placed in the fr eezer is dated and labelled and used in date order to ensur e that food is consumed at its best. • Av oid buying frozen food if y ou cannot store it straight a way . The use of an insulated container is advisable.
12 Defr osting Y our appliance is frost fr ee , which means there is no need to manually defr ost your appliance as this will be carried out automatically . Before an y maintenance or cleaning work is carried out, DISCONNECT the appliance fr om the ELECTRICITY supply .
