12 CONNECTING A PC Connect the 15-pin D-SUB PC/VGA connector from your computer to the 15-pin D-SUB PC/VGA input on this unit using a monitor cable (not included). Connect a stereo audio cable (not included) to the PC AUDIO IN jack on this unit, and the other end to the A UDIO OUT jack on y our computer’ s sound card.
13 PO WER SUPPL Y USING THE CAR POWER ADAPTER The included car po wer adapter allo ws the unit to be used with vehicles that ha v e a 12V , negative ground electrical system. Cautions: • Use the provided car po wer adapter only . Use with other car power adapters could damage the unit.
14 INST ALLA TION MOUNTING ON THE W AL L T his unit is VESA-compliant, and is designed to be wall-mounted with a VESA-compliant 3” x 3” (75mm x 75mm) mounting kit designed for flat-panel TVs (sold separately). Mount this unit according to the directions included with the mounting kit.
15 • T urn down the volume before connecting headphones to the unit, then adjust the volume to your desired level. • When headphones are connected, no sound will come from the front speakers. Note: • A void listening to sound at high lev els for prolonged periods of time.

20 TV SETUP PARENT AL MENU Password 1. Press the MENU button. 2. Use the or button to select P arental . Press the ENTER or button to confirm. T he menu locked screen will be displayed. 3. Enter a 4-digit pass word. Once entered, the screen will enter the P arental menu.
21 TV SETUP • Rating Enable : Select On to edit the following parental items. Select Off to disable parental control. • Open V -Chip : Read the ratings from A TSC TV progr ams if there is r ating information broadcasted, and denies the channel when its rating is higher than the ratings you pre-set.
22 TROUBLE SHOO TING GUIDE • Chec k the location of the antenna and adjust it if necessary . • Make sure the antenna cable is connected firmly . • Make sure all input cables are firmly connected. • Increase the volume. • Check whether the mute function has been activated on the Remote Control.
