3 DV354 Installation DIN Front-Mount Installation 1. Use the supplied release keys to remove the half-sleeve from the unit. 2. Install the half-sleeve. a. Install adapter if necessary (optional). b. Install half-sleeve into adapter or dashboard using the supplied screws.
4 DV354 DIN Rear-Mount Installati on With some vehicles, you can use the screw holes loca ted on both sides of the unit to fasten the unit to the factory radio mounting brackets supplied with you r vehicle. T o install this unit using factory mounting plates, per form the following steps: 1.

6 DV354 Audio/V ideo Connections NOTE: When replacing a fuse, be sure to use correct type and amp erage to avoid damaging the DVD player . The DV354 uses o ne 3 amp and o ne 0.5 amp A TC fuse, located in th e black filter boxes in-line with the po wer wires.

8 DV354 Remote Control Functions Changing the Battery The remote control uses a CR2025 3V butto n cell lithium battery . The battery compartment is located on the back of the remote control near the botto m edge. T o replace the battery: 1. Open the battery compartment cover .

15 DV354 T R OUBLESHOOTING Care and Maintenance • Use only a clean silicone cloth and neutral detergen t to clean the front panel or monitor . A rough cloth and non-neutral detergent (such as al cohol) may result in scratching or discolora- tion. • Do not get water or cleaning fluids on the unit.
