Bluetooth Car Kit User Manual 2 Installing the junction box This Car Kit is designed to work with a 12/24-volt vehicle po wer supply. Refer to the following to install the junction box in a vehicle. 1. Locate a suitable place inside the car to mount the jun ction box.
Connecting the power supply The following illustration demonstrates how to conne ct the Car Kit’s power cable to the vehicl e’s electrical system. Power Cable Important! The Blue cable must be connected to the 12/24-volt switched ignition to enable the Car Kit to go into standby mode.

Installing the Components Before installing the components, take n ote of the followin g: • Make sure that the cables can rea ch from the each component to the Junction Box. If the cable is too short, relocate the component. Do not lengthen the cable.

Using the remote control The Car Kit is operated using the remote control: Control Module Functions Volume up / down Press during operation to increase or l ower the volume. Answer / redial Press to answer a call. Call waiting: Press to answer a second call.

Turning off the BT250 & the Blue LED light When the BT250 is not co nnected to any phone the Blue LED ligh t will continue to flash. You can turn the unit off by pressing & holding the End button for 3 seconds (Pleas e note that the button backlight will still be on all the time) until you see the Blue LED light shut off.
