8 Range Hood Mounting Sc rews Installation 1. Determin e and mark the cente rline on the c eiling where the range hood will be install ed, considering th e r e quirements for ceiling support struc tures. See the “Locati on Requirements” section . Make sure the range hood i s centered over the cooking surface.
9 Connect V ent System 1. Instal l vent sy stem. 2. Push duct over the exhaust outlet. Se al all connecti ons with ve nt clamps . Non-V ented (recir culating) Installation 1. Attach the air deflector to t he upper horizontal su pport using 4 mounting scr ews.
10 6. Use UL listed wire connec tors and connect whi te wires (E) together . 7. Connect green (or bare) ground wi re from h ome power supply to yellow-green gr ound wire (E) in terminal box using UL listed wire connectors. 8. Tighten strain r elief screw .
