5 BEF ORE USING THE O V EN IMPORT AN T : Complete th e following s teps before oven is used for the first time. 1. Open the oven d oor , remove the acce ssories and make su re that th e oven is empt y . 2. Rinse th e wate r conta iner with tap wa ter (no d eter ge nts) and then f ill it to t he “M AX” ma rk wi th fresh tap wa ter .
6 Time The time must be set on the display after power is supplied to the oven or after a power failure. To S e t t h e T i m e : 1. Press ON/HOME. 2. Press the up or down buttons un til “Setti ngs” is selected on the displ ay , then p ress OK to confirm.
7 Chang ing Cooking F unction Settings T o Change T emperatur e or Cook Time A fter the Cookin g Process Has Been Started: 1. Pr ess ST ART t o incr ease the cook tim e. E ach pr ess will increase the t ime by 1 minut e. 2. Press the “up ” or “down” buttons to toggle between changing the T emperature or Cook Time.
8 T emperature Pr obe The temperature probe allows you to meas ure the inter nal temperature of meat durin g cooking. The temperat ure probe measures betwee n 86°F (30°C) and 2 12°F (100°C) to ensure that food is cooked to the d esired temperatu re.
9 Preset Foo ds The Preset Foods functi on will display pr ompts and allow you to make sel ectio ns to as sist you in prepa ring a var iety o f foods . Y ou can choose from 11 catego ries of food: Meat, Poultry , Fish/ Shell fish, P otatoe s, V egetab les, Ri ce/Grai n, Past a, Egg s, Pi zza/ Pie, Dess erts, or Bread/Cakes.

11 Manual - Con vection Bak e Use the Convection Bake funct ion to cook foods such as p ies, dinner rolls, pizza or muffins usi ng the convect ion function. Dur ing Co nvec tio n Ba ke , th e c onv ect ion ring el em ent c ycl es o n and off in interval s to maintai n the oven temp erature, while the fan constantl y circulates the hot air .

13 Steam Defr ost Use the Steam Defrost function for defrosting food such as meat, poultry , vegetables, bread and fruit. ■ Food should be cooked immediately after the defrost/ standing t ime is comple ted. ■ When de frostin g, it i s better t o slightl y underthaw t he food and allow t he process to finish during st anding t ime.
14 Steam Reheat Use the Steam Reh eat function to reheat 1 or 2 portions of chil led or room t emperature food. Always cove r food when usin g the Steam Reh eat function. IMPORT AN T : At the end of t he reheating cyc le, make sure to empty the water con tainer and retur n it to it s compa rtment bef ore closing the oven door .

17 Special Functions Special functions av ailabl e are: Proofing and Y ogurt. Follow the in struct ions in the appropriate secti on to use t he desired speci al functi on. Proofing T o use the Proofing function, begi n with the oven at r oom temperature.

19 Steam C leaning IMPORT AN T : Do not use oven cleane rs or any other ad ditive s with th e Stea m Cleani ng func tion. The Steam Clean ing function is us ed to soften ha rd soiled particle s and make cleani ng easier . Use the Ste am Cleanin g function as soon as possible aft er spill s occur .
20 T o cle an ov en cavit y surfaces : T o av oid damage to ove n cavi ty surfaces, do not use soa p-filled scouri ng pa ds or ab rasive clea ners. The ov en cavit y shou ld be cleaned at regular interval s, especial ly if spil lovers have occurred.
