Page 19 TM-1020 Series Progressive Scan Shutter Ca meras Operation The TM-1020 series outputs the progressiv e-scanned image with an electronic shutter in two different formats: 1. Progressive-scanning digital and analo g output The CCD signal goes through A/D and D/A conv erters and through 10-bit in, 8-bit out look-up table (LUT).
Page 20 TM-1020 Series Progressive Scan Sh utter Cameras Operation 3.6 Asynchr onous Reset The TM-1020 series's asyn chronous reset is flexible and accepts external horizontal drive (HD) for phase locking. When the VINIT pulse is applied, it resets the camera's scanning and pur ging of the CCD.

Page 26 TM-1020 Series Progressive Scan Sh utter Cameras Operation 3.7 Dynamic Range Contr ol The typical interline transf er CCD has fixed noise levels based on dark current (thermal or KT noise), pattern noise, and the operating clock speed. In general, the level of the 20 MHz pixel clock CCD at room temperature is around 20 to 50 electron s.
