3 1. Safety precautions CAUTION: The lightning f lash with arrowhead sy mbol, with in an equilatera l triangle, is intended to a lert the user to "dangerous v oltage" and to prevent from a ris k of electric shoc k. Warning: To reduce the risk of electric shoc k, don't open the cabinet.

6 3. R emote Control You can power o n/off the receiver, operat e on screen menu, and use a v ariety of hot key function. POWER To switch your receiver on from s tandby or standby to on.
7 4. F r ont panel STANDBY/O N: To switc h the receiv er power on/sta nd by MENU (Optio nal): To ent er into the main menu. ▲ , ▼ KEY (optional): To change chann els, or to mov e cursor up or down.
8 6. Connecting Y our Syste m There are t hree ways t o connect the receiver to y our existing TV sy stem. W e r ecommend usin g one of the follow ing cases for t he best result: 1. Connect on e end of SC ART cable t o the TV (SC ART) jack on the back of th e receiver an d the other end to a SCART jac k on your TV.
9 TV with Motorized Sy stem (DiSEq C 1.2) Connect one end of your coax ial cable to t he LNB I N connector on the receiver and the other e nd to the REC or Receiver conn ector on the DiSEqC 1.2 motor. Connect the co axial cable from the L NB to the LNB connector on t he DiSEqC 1.
10 7. Basic Oper ations 7.1 Turn on STB Firstly, press t he Device’s Main Power t o turn on the unit. If the STB is u sed for the f irst time, it w ill play the first chann el from the default Channe l List. Otherwise, it will play t he last channel befor e being turned o ff.
11 4 The favorite group is the favorite channe ls you have marked in Menu “TV channel l ist”. Please refer to Favorite. 5 Press Exit key to draw back from “Fav orite” menu.
12 1 In MultiPictur es mode, the screen w ill display 9 channels’ pr eview windo w (stat ic) from the current channe l. And only the highlighted preview progra m can play normally. 2 Press ◄ , ► / Ch/ ▲ , ▼ / V � keys can move hi ghlight among each prev iew program, an d only the hig hlighted prev iew program can play normall y.
13 1 Press [Red] key can open the “Group” window like above 2 You can pres s [Up/Dwon] key t o move highlight and press [OK] key to select group. 3 Press [Red] key or [Menu] key to close “Group” list.

15 8.1.5 Favorite 1 Press [White]key can open t he “Favorite” window like abov e 2 You can move high light between 8 favorite groups by press[Channel Up/Channel Down]key and press[OK] key to make a favorite mar k in the right side of the selected Fav orite group.
16 9.1.1 LNB ty pe In this item, press[Volume Up/ Volume Down]key can switch am ong “Standard” , “User” and “Universa l” mode. For Example: If you use th e Dual LN B, then you should select “User” opt ion in “LNB Type” and set the correct frequency in LNB Type, t hen you can play t he channel nor mally.
17 9.1.8 TP Sca n When you enter to “TP Sc an” menu, there w ill display the scree n like bel ow: 1 In “Satellite” ite m, press[V olume Up/ Volu me Down]key to switch satel lite that y ou want to scan or press[ OK]key to enter satellite list for selection.
18 Search on/o ff. After you s et up, press [OK] key to start scanning. 9.2 Satellit e Guide When you enter to “Satel lite Guide” menu, you will see the scr een like be low: “Satellite Guid e” is use for user to enter local longitude; loc al latitude an d satellite longitu de.
19 2 First Audio: Some channe ls have more tha n one audio la nguage for ch oosing; by this function y ou can set the f irst audio for t his channel. I f the playing cha nnel has the s ame audio as the “F irst Audio” you set, system will play this audi o language a s default.
20 10.3 Local Tim e Setting When you enter to “Time & Timer Setti ng” menu, you will see “Time” and “Timer” ite ms. 1 Time: W hen y ou select “Ti me” and pre ss [OK] key t o enter the men u, you w ill see the screen like be low: GMT Usage: T his item is use f or open the usage of G MT.
21 On Time: use number keys to input your wakeup time. Once the ti me’s up, no matter what t he system is in standby mode or in pl aying mode, the system wi ll automatica lly switch to t he channel y ou want and start to play.
22 2 For Example: If you select “Free”, in full screen play, all scramble d channels w ill be skipped when you change channels by use [Channel up/ Channel Dow n] key.
