10 System Requirements For Windows: The S olo PRO drive is for matted with an NTF S f ile syste m, a default f or the Windows OS. For Mac: The SoloPRO is supported on Mac’s using the G3 (or later) or I ntel process or. When connecting to a Mac, the Solo PRO drive will need to be reformatted once conn ected.

14 Connecting the SoloPRO to Your Computer Using the USB connection 1. Connect the included power suppl y to the back of th e Solo PRO . CAUTION ! To avoid damage to the pow er supply connector, mak e sure it is aligned correct ly before plug ging it into th e drive .
15 4. Verify that the Drive Mounts. Before storing data on the SoloPR O, the drive must b e “mounted” to the computers operating system . This means that the comput ers operating syste m has recogn i zed at least one r eadable parti tion on the d rive and es tablished a communication link with it.
16 Formatting t he SoloPRO for Mac OS The SoloPRO is formatted NTF S and may not b e recognized b y Mac OS 10.2 and earlier. You may get an al ert message whic h reads: “You hav e inserted a disk co ntaining no volu mes that Ma c OS can read.” Click the ignore but ton and follow the steps below.
