7 Welcome Thank you for purchasing the ioSafe ® Solo external hard drive - the first high capacity external hard dr ive available with prote ction from fires and floods. For years, ioSafe has conti nue d to set the stan dard for disaster pr oof hardware.

14 Securing the Solo (Su ggestions) For added security, the Solo can be bo lted to a floor or secu red with a cable and padlock. See the pictur es below f or suggested meth ods on physically se curing the Solo.
15 Connecting the Solo to Your Computer Step 1: Plug in the AC plug adapter and power cord 1. Plug the small e nd of the AC adapter into the Solo’s power port. 2. Plug th e adapter into an AC outlet. Step 2: C onnect ing the U SB Ca ble The USB cable h as a flat conn ection on on e end, an d a square connect ion on the other end.

18 ioSafe Data Rec overy Ser vice Terms and Conditions As applicable during the Data Re covery Service period and upon validated registration of an ioSa fe (the Company) product on th e Company's website (www.iosafe.com), the Company or its contracted partner will as sist the original purc haser for one "data recovery event".

22 ioSafe War ranty If a mechanical or operable part of an ioSaf e malfunctions or bre aks down during normal use, ioS afe will at our option, repair or replace said part free for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase.
