SECTION 4—WHEELCHAIR OPERATION Pronto® Series 42 Part No. 1125075 On/Off Button This button is located at the front of the joystick housing. It is used to turn the wheelchair On and Off, to remove the joystick from sleep mode (if programmed) and to lock or unlock the joystick (if programmed).
SECTION 4—WHEELCHAIR OPERATION Part No. 1125075 43 Pronto® Series Joystick The joystick has proportional drive control, meaning that further the joystick is pushed from the upright (neutral) position, the f aster the wheelchair or seat mov es. Y our top speed, howev er , is limited by the programmed settings.

It is not designed for use as a safety device withstanding high stress loads such as auto or aircraft safety belts.

Cut the tie-wraps that secure the bottom of the existing back upholstery to the seat frame.

SECTION 8—FRONT RI GGINGS/FOOTBOARD Pronto® Series 76 Part No. 1125075 Raising/Lowering Elevating Front Riggings NOTE: For this procedur e, refer to FIGURE 8.5. 1. P erform one of the following: • Raising - Pull back on the release lever and raise front rigging to the desired height.
SECTION 8—FRONT RIGGINGS/FOOTBOARD Part No. 1125075 77 Pronto® Series 4. Using the two socket bolts, spacers and loc knuts, secure the telescoping front rigging support to the seat frame. 5. If necessary , repeat STEPS 2-4 on remaining telescoping front rigging support.
