3 INTERLUDE IL30 and IL40 Refer to F igure 3 as you perf orm the following steps: 1. Open each accessory pack and locate the following items: four f eet (with spike/round ends), four locking nuts , four nylon domes and one wrench. 2. Lay each speaker on its side and locate the f our threaded holes on the bottom.

5 INTERLUDE 1. Loosen the terminals and remove strapping bars. 2. Insert the speaker wire for the high frequencies into the top set of terminals and tighten. 3. Insert the speaker wire for the low frequencies into the bottom set of terminals and tighten.
6 INTERLUDE Check the speakers f or playback fir st by setting the system v olume control to a minimum le v el, and then by applying power to your audio system. Play a fa vor ite music or video segment and increase the system v olume contr ol to a comfortable le vel.
