SMITH MA CHINE A SSEMBLY INSTRUCTION Tools Required A ssembling the Machine: Tw o Adj ustable Wrenches and A llen Wrenches. NOTE: It is strongly recommended tw o or more people assembling this machine to av oid possible injury . STEP 1 (See Diagram 1) A.
STEP 2 (See Diagram 2) A.) Attach a Fr ont Vertical Frame (#6) to the R ight Base Frame ( #2). Secure it w ith two M 10 x 2 ¾” Carri age Bolts ( #77), Ø ¾” W ashers (#87), and M10 Ai rcraft Nuts (#88). Do not tig hten the Nuts and Bolts yet. B.

STEP 3 (See Diagram 3) A.) Attach the R ear Vertic al Frame (#14) to the Rear Base Frame ( #5). Secure it with tw o M10 x 2 ½ ” Allen Bol ts (#69), four Ø ¾” W ashers (#87), and two M10 Ai rcraft Nuts (#88). Sli de the Sliding W eight Post (#13) onto the Rear Ver tical Frame (#14).
STEP 4 (See Diagram 4) A.) Attach the Left & Rig ht Lat Bar Frames (#16 & #17) to the Upper Fr ame (#10). Ali gn the holes and secure each Lat Bar Fr ame to Upper Frame w ith one M10 x 5” Al len Bolt (#67) , two Ø ¾ ” W ashers (#87), and one M10 Airc raft Nut (#88).
STEP 5 (See Diagram 5) A.) Attach the Butter fly Base (#23) to the front of Middle Vertic al Frame (#4) . Attach the Butterfly Pull ey Bracket ( #24) to the back of the Frame. Secure them w ith tw o M10 x 2 ¾” Car riag e Bolts (#77), Ø ¾ ” W ashers (#87), and M10 Airc raft Nuts (#88).

STEP 6 (See Diagram 6 & Cable Loop Diagram) A.) Inser t the 242” Upper Cable (#35) through the sw ivel pulley bracket pre-installed i n the top front of the Right Lat Bar Frame ( #17). B.) Instal l a Ball Stopper (#86) onto the end of the Cable.

STEP 7 (See Diagram 7 & Cable Loop Diagram) A.) Attach one end of the 76” Butterfly Cabl e (#36) to the cli p on the Left Butterfly (#26). Dr aw the C able to the Butterfly Base Br acket (#24).
STEP 8 (See Diagram 8 & Cable Loop Diagram) A.) Attach one end of the 140” H igh- Low Cabl e (#38) to the br acket on the Sliding W eight Post (#13). Secure i t wi th one M10 x 1 3/8” Allen Bolt ( #72), two Ø ¾” W ashers (#87), and one M10 Aircr a f t Nut (#88).
STEP 9 (See Diagram 9 & Cable Loop Diagram) A.) Attach the 68” Lower Cable ( #37) to the opening on the bottom of Middle Verti cal Frame (#4). Attach a Pul ley to the openi ng. Secure i t wi th one M10 x 2 ½ ” Allen Bol t (#69), tw o Long Pulley Bushing s (#48), and one M10 Aircr aft Nut (#88).

STEP 2 (See Diagram 2) A.) Attach four Bushi ngs (#21) to a Seat Support Frame (#6) . B.) Attach a Backr est Support (#7) to the rear of the Seat Support Frame (#6) . Alig n the holes and secure them w ith one M10 x 1 ¾” Al len Bolt (#31) and ∅ ¾” W asher (#36).
STEP 3 (See Diagram 3) A.) Pl ace the Backrest Board (#12) onto the Backrest Supports (#7) . Secure it with four M 8 x 2” Al len Bolts ( #34) and ∅ 5/8” W ashers (#37). B.) Pl ace the Seat Pad (#11) onto the Seat Support Fr ames (#6). Secure it wi th four M8 x 2” Allen Bolts ( #34) and Ø 5/8” W ashers (#37).
STEP 4 (See Diagram 4) A.) Attach the Leg Dev eloper (#5) to the open bracket on the Mai n Frame (#1). Secur e it w ith an Axle ( #14), tw o M10 x ¾” All en Bolts (#30), and tw o ∅ ¾” W ashers (#36). B.) Insert one Foam Tube (#10) hal fway through the hol e on the Main Frame.
STEP 5 (See Diagram 5) A.) Attach the Ar m Curl Pad ( #13) to the Arm C url Stand (#4) . Secure it w ith two M8 x 5/8” Allen Bolts ( #35) and tw o ∅ 5/8” W ashers (#37). Insert the Arm Cur l Stand into the front opening on the M ain Frame (#1) .
