2 W arnings and Precautions W ARNING: Use of this unit near uorescent lighting may cause interference regarding use of the remote. If the unit is displaying erratic behavior move away from any uorescent lighting, as it may be the cause. W ARNING: T o prevent re or shock hazards, do not expose this unit to rain or moisture.

5 Powering the Unit Changing the Remote Battery T o power the unit, plug the included AC cord into a standard AC outlet (120V~60Hz) T o change the remote battery , remove the battery compartment, and replace the battery with a CR2025 type battery . The unit can also be powered by inserting 8 C batteries into the battery compartment.
6 Playing a CD Press the Step 1: Power Button to turn the unit on. Press the Step 2: Source Button to switch the unit to CD Mode . Press the Step 3: Open/Close Button to open the CD door . Insert a CD into the unit. Step 4: Press the Step 5: Source Button to switch to CD Mode .
7 T uning the AM/FM Radio Saving a Radio Station to the Unit’ s Memory Press the Step 1: Power Button to turn the unit on. Press the Step 2: Source Button to switch the unit to Radio Mode . Press the Step 3: Stop/AM/FM Button to switch between AM and FM radio modes.
