Installation • A qualified and competent person must do the electrical and the plumbing install ation. • This appliance is heavy. Take care when you move it. • Make sure that the appliance is not dam- aged because of transp ort. Do not connect a damaged appliance.
• Do not use connection hoses from an old appliance to connect it to the water supply. • The water pressure must be in the limits (refer to the chapter «Technical data» ta- ble). Make sure that the local water au- thority gives you the average mai ns pres- sure in your ar ea.

Control panel Below is a pi cture of the control panel. It show s the programme selector dial as we ll as the buttons and the indicator lights. These are pr esented by rel evant numbers on the follow- ing pages.
Programme selec tor dial It allows you to switc h the appliance On/Off a nd/or to select a programme. Spin reduction button By pressing this butto n you can change the spin speed of the selected programme. • No Spin option: by selecting this option, all spinning phases are suppressed and replaced by a drain, so as not to wrin- kle the laundry.
Delay Start button The programme can be delayed from 30 min - 60 min - 90 min, 2 hours and then by 1 hour up to a maximum of 20 hours by means of this button. Display 10.1 10.2 The display shows the following information: • 10.1 – Child safety lock.
Personalisation Acoustic signals The machine is provided with an acoustic de- vice, which sounds in the following cases: • at the end of the cycle • if there is a fault. By pressing the 7 and 8 buttons simultane- ously for about 6 seconds , the acoustic signa l is deactivated (except if there is a fault).

• The selected delay can be changed only after selecting the washing pro- gramme again. • The door will be locked throughout the delay time. If you need to open the door, you must first set the wash- ing machine to PAUSE by pressing button 5 and wait a few minu tes be- fore opening the door.
Remove the laundry from the drum and care- fully check that the drum is empty. If you do not intend to carry out another wash, close the water tap. Leave the door open to pre- vent the formation of mildew and unpleasant smells. Stand by : once the programme has finished after a few minutes the energy saving system will be enabled.
Washing programmes Please always re fer to the care label symbol of your garment and select the wash ing pro- gramme based on what it says. Care and cleaning Warning! Switch the appliance off before you carry out any cleaning or maintenance work. Maintenance Wash With the use of low temperature was hes it is possible to get a build up of residues inside the drum. We recommend that a maintenance wash be performed on a regular basis.
