Boot Menu During the boot pro cedure, press th e ESC key in the Se condstage Loa der when the Load ing Kernel message is sho wn on the screen.

The normal procedure for up dating your thin client is as follows: Go to www.myigel.biz and download the desired firm ware image fro m the IGEL server.

Remote Management If the thin client is registered by an IGE L UMS server, th e server address and th e port nu mber will be shown under Remote Mana gement . You can als o enter thes e data manually if the client is t o be managed by a specific server.

You will find i nformation on th e individual items in th e tool tip s. However, changes to the thin client configuration via the Registry should only be made by experienced administrators.

The selection wind ow opens as soon as the GeNUCard sessi on is launched. The available options for laun ching the session can b e defined under Desktop Integration in th e session configuration.

Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol - SCEP The SCEP allows the automatic pro vision of client cer tificates via an SCEP server and a certification authority. This type of certificate is aut omatically rene wed before it expires and can be used f or purposes such as network auth entication (e.
