8 CUST OMER RESPONSIBILITIES T O CHANGE ENGINE OIL (See Figs. 6 and 7) Deter mine temperature r ange e xpected bef ore oil change. All oil must meet API service classifi cation SF or SG. • Be sure tiller engine is le vel. • Oil will drain more freely when warm.
9 CUST OMER RESPONSIBILITIES COOLING SYSTEM (See Fig. 9) Y our engine is air cooled. For proper engine perf ormance and long lif e keep y our engine clean. • Clean air screen frequently using a stiff bristled brush. • Remov e b lower housing and clean as necessary .

11 SER VICE AND ADJUSTMENTS IDLE RPM ADJUSTMENT - • With engine at idle speed, tur n the idle adjust screw slowly countercloc kwise until the engine begins to f alter . • Then raise the engine speed by turning the idle ad- just screw cloc kwise until the engine holds a smooth con stant speed.
12 Immediately prepare your tiller f or stor age at the end of the season or if the unit will not be used f or 30 da ys or more. CA UTION: Never store the tiller with gasoline in the tank inside a build ing where fumes may reac h an open fl ame or spark.
