17 Drive • Forw ard drive is engaged (1) and disengaged (2) with the clutch bar at the top of the handle. • Select g round speed with gear shift lev er (3).

19 Mow the la wn twice weekly during the most active periods of growth. Nev er cut more than 1/3 of the length of the grass , especially during dr y per iods. Mow with a high cutting height setting the fi rst time. Examine the result and lower the mo wer to the desired setting.
20 Annuall y (After end of season) Grinding and balancing the cutter blade. Remove the spark plug lead. Fit- ting and removing the b lade require the use of protective glo ves . Unscrew the cutter blade and deliv er it to a ser vice workshop for grinding and balancing.

22 Over time , ground speed may decrease . Adjust as follo ws: • Pull out the button (1) on the underside of the housing. • Push button (1) back in. Ground speed should increase. If ground speed has become slow er , repeat above steps to return adjustment to normal.
