11 ASSEMBLING Handle Pull up the handle in direction of the arrows. • Move lever (1) in direction of the arrow , tighten the bolts (2). With the handle in up-turned position, tighten the knobs (3). MONT AGE Griff Griff in Pfeilrichtung hochklappens.
12 T o Assemble and Attach Grass Catcher • Position chutes as shown and secure with fasteners supplied. • Put grass catcher frame into grass bag with beveled section on the bottom. • Slip vinyl bindings over frame. • Place the grass catcher handle onto the raised arms of the rear door .

14 Adjustment The mower can be set to different cutting levels. All wheels must be in the same height positions, otherwise uneven cutting will result. 18 Mow the lawn twice weekly during the most active periods of growth. Never cut more than 1/3 of the length of the grass, especially during dry periods. Mow with a high cutting height setting the fi rst time. Examine the result and lower the mower to the desired setting.
19 Maintenance Always remove the spark plug lead before repair , cleaning or main te - nance work. After 5 hours running time, tighten screws and nuts.
20 Annually (After end of season) Grinding and balancing the cutter blade. Remove the spark plug lead. Fit- ting and removing the blade require the use of protective gloves. Unscrew the cutter blade and deliver it to a service workshop for grinding and balancing.
21 Cleaning of air fi lter . Slacken the screw , remove the lid and remove the fi lter cartridge. Reinigung des Luftfi lters. Schrauben lösen, Deckel abnehmen und Filtere- insatz herausnehmen. Nettoyage du fi ltre à air . Desserez la vis, enlevez le capot et retirez la car- touche fi ltrante.
22 1 2 • Close mulcher door , tighten knob (1) securely . • Attach hose to fi tting (2). • T urn on water supply . • Start engine. • Stop engine when clean. • T urn off water supply . • Disconnect hose from fi tting (2). • Schließen Sie mulcher Tür , ziehen Sie Knopf (1) fest.
