MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE • Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the equip - ment is in safe working condition. • Never store the equipment with petrol in the tank inside a building where fumes may reach an open flame or spark. • Allow the engine to cool before storing in any enclo- sure.

19 2 02464 2 02466 1 Seat Remove the hardware securing seat to the cardboard pack ing and set the hardware aside for assembly of seat to tractor . Pivot seat upward and remove from cardboard packing. Remove the cardboard packing and discard. Place seat on seat pan so head of shoulder bolt is positioned over large slotted hole in pan (1).

24 2 T o Assemble Bagger • Unfold bag by pivoting front bagger tube all the way for- ward and pressing the bottom vinyl binding onto the tube. • Inside the bag, install spreader bars and retainer springs onto pins on both sides of bag as shown. • Press the vinyl bindings onto the sides of front bagger tube.

28 2 Pour assembler le collecteur • Déplier le sac en faisant basculer complètement vers l’avant le tube antérieur de l’ensacheuse et en poussant la bordure inférieure en vinyle sur le tube. • Dans le sac, placer les entretoises et les ressorts de retenue sur les goupilles des deux côtés du sac, de la façon illustrée.

30 2 P ara montar el contenedor • Desplegar la bolsa pivoteando el tubo frontal del saco completamente hacia adelante y presionado la atadura de vinilo del fondo hacia el tubo. • En el interior de la bolsa, instalar las barras extendedoras y los resortes de retención en las clavijas en ambos lados de la bolsa como mostrado.

32 2 Per montare il cesto di raccolta: • Svolgere il sacchetto ruotando completamente in avanti il tubo anteriore dell’insaccatrice e premendo la parte inferiore in vinile sul tubo. • All’interno del sacchetto, installare le barre distanziatrici e le molle di tenuta sui perni di entrambi i lati del sacchetto, come mostrato in figura.

36 2 TO ADJUST GAUGE WHEELS Gauge wheels are properly adjusted when they are slightly off the ground when mower is at the desired cutting height in operating position. Gauge wheels then keep the deck in proper position to help prevent scalping in most terrain con di tions.

47 4 ADD FULL CAUTION - DO 01341 Oil level The combined oil refilling cap and the oil stick is ac ces si ble when the bonnet is lifted for wards. The oil level in the engine should be checked before each run. Make sure that the tractor is ho ri zon tal.
48 4 0 13 62 02 474 Tire air pressure Check the tire pressure regularly . The pres sure in the front tire should be 1 bar (14 PSI) and 0.8 bar (12 PSI) in the back tires. 75 For best results mower blades must be kept sharp. Re place bent or damaged blades. BL ADE REMOV AL • Raise mower to highest position to allow access to blades. • Remove hex bolt, lock washer and flat washer se cur ing blade. • Install new or resharpened blade with trailing edge up towards deck as shown.
76 T o Check Brake If tractor requires more than five (5) feet to stop at highest speed in high est gear on a level, dry concrete or paved sur - face, then brake must be serviced. Y ou may also check brake by: 1. P ark tractor on a level, dry concrete or paved surface, depress brake pedal all the way down and engage park- ing brake.

79 Replacement of drive belt for cutting unit 1. Dismantle the cutting unit as described previously . 2. Work off the belt from the unit's left pulley and then from the other wheels. 3. Pull the belt away from the cutting unit. 4. The new belt is mounted in the reverse order .

Dismantle the motion restrainer for the clutch (2). 4. Engage the parking brake and work off the belt upwards from the pulley (3), the clutch pul ley (4).
